LSU Tiger baseball beats Florida Gators 3-2 in game one of series
The LSU Tiger baseball team won game one of their SEC series against the Florida Gators 3-2 on Friday night in Alex Box Stadium.
The Tigers scored the go ahead run in the bottom of the eighth inning as catcher Ty Ross flied to center with the bases loaded and one out to score Alex Bregman from third base to break a 2-2 tie.
LSU starting pitcher Cody Glenn pitched a great game as he only allowed two runs, one of them unearned through six and two-thirds innings of work.
That sets the Tigers up in great position for game two of the series as they still have usual lead off pitcher Aaron Nola on the mound for game two on Friday night.
