LSU ties score in bottom of first inning 2-2
BATON ROUGE - The LSU Tigers' early game deficit was short-lived. The purple and gold responded to JSU's 2-0 lead in the top of the first with 2 runs of their own in the bottom of the inning.
Mason Katz drove home Sean McMullen with a sacrafice fly to score LSU's first run of the game.
Later in the inning, Raph Rhymes hit a harmeless grounder to short but a throwing error by the Jackson State shortstop allowed another LSU run to cross the plate.
The score is tied at 2 in the top of the 2nd inning.
