BATON ROUGE- The TV journalist who made wearing suspenders cool, Larry King, will interview the man who secured Louisiana as a political hot spot, Edwin Edwards, at LSU in September.

King's interview will be similar to his one-hour TV format and will also feature Edwards biographer Leo Honeycutt.

It "promises to be unforgettable dialogue between legendary men," Terry Serio said. Serio is the assistant director of Event Management at LSU Student Union Theater.

Since his release from federal prison and a new marriage, Edwards has moved with his family to Gonzales. They have been in production of a reality TV show for a cable channel.

The event is set for Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 4:30 p.m. Tickets will go on sale Monday, August 12.
