LSU spring football begins
BATON ROUGE - Trying to put an 8-5 campaign behind them, the LSU football team began spring practice for the 2015 season on Saturday.
Anthony Jennings and Brandon Harris came out throwing, as both quarterbacks will battle for the starting job this fall.
Leonard Fournette worked on his blocking early on, as the sophomore running back tries to follow his 1000-yard freshman campaign with an even bigger year in 2015.
Fresh faces filled the fields at the McClendon practice facility, including early enrollee Kevin Tolliver, a defensive back considered the top signee in LSU's class of 2015.
The new team members extended to the coaching staff, where defensive coordinator Kevin Steele, defensive line coach Ed Orgeron and wide receivers coach Tony Ball all made their LSU debuts on the practice field.
