LSU Softball Sweeps Second Day of Tiger Classic
BATON ROUGE - The LSU softball team wrapped up day two of the Tiger Classic with a pair of wins, taking down Oklahoma State 1-0 in the early game and Murray State 10-2 on Saturday night.
Against the Sooners, the Tigers got a home run from Sandra Simmons in the 2nd inning, and freshman pitcher Baylee Corbello threw 13 strikeouts in a complete game shutout.
The Tigers turned a close game against Murray State into a blowout with a 6 run 4th inning.
LSU is now 3-2 on the season and will finish up the Tiger Classic against Central Arkansas Sunday at 1pm.
