LSU softball falls flat in series finale vs. #1 Florida
BATON ROUGE - The LSU softball team was blown out Sunday afternoon by #1 Florida 10-2, as the Gators hit 3 home runs in the first inning and never looked back.
Kelsey Stewart started off the game with a leadoff home run for the Gators, and she was followed by Lauren Haeger and Taylor Schwarz as the Gators put up seven runs in the first inning.
Tigers pitcher Kelsee Selman only lasted .1 inning, as she gave up three runs on three hits before being relieved by Ashley Czechner.
The Tigers fell to 18-10 on the season and 2-4 in SEC play, as they've now dropped their first two conference series.
