LSU Softball claims series with comeback win

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Down four runs with just two innings to play, LSU softball rallied to score five runs to take the comeback win against the Arkansas Razorbacks, 5-4. 

After stealing the second game, the Tigers wrapped up the series in Arkansas in just a matter of hours. In game one, the Tigers put up 10 runs to the Razorback's 4 to take the first win. 

The Tigers improve to 39-13 overall record and 12-11 in the Southeastern conference.

As expected, head coach Beth Torina was excited about the come from behind game two win.

"I love seeing the fight of our team," Torina said. "It’s not the first time this season we’ve been down to our last strike and be able to come away with a win.I think that’s such an unbelievable quality for a team to have; to have guts and fight down to the wire when your back is against the wall and be able to find a way."

The final game of the series is set for 1 p.m. Sunday at Bogle Park.
