LSU softball can't complete sweep of Vols, fall 9-0 in series finale
BATON ROUGE - The LSU softball team gave up 2 runs in the first inning and never recovered in their series finale against #2 Tennessee, falling 9-0 after winning the first two games.
Tigers starting pitcher Ashley Czechner was pulled after she gave up a third run in the third inning, but Baylee Corbello could do little to stem the Volunteer hitting.
The Tigers (22-16) offense could only muster 3 hits on the day, as they fell to 4-8 in SEC play.
