LSU softball avenges loss vs S. Alabama with 6-1 win
BATON ROUGE - The LSU softball team lost to South Alabama in February 2-1, but the Tigers avenged that loss with a 6-1 blowout win at Tiger Park Wednesday night.
LSU needed only seven hits to score six runs, two of which came in the first inning, and the Tigers have now won six of their last eight ball games.
The Tigers now travel to Ole Miss Friday night to take on the Rebels in a clash of SEC rivals.
