LSU's Duncan defends 100M title
AUSTIN, Texas - Louisiana State's Kimberlyn Duncan defended her title in the Texas Relays women's 100 meters, and Texas A&M's Ameer Webb capped an impressive week for the Aggies by winning the men's 100.
Duncan, who was second in the 100 meters at the 2012 NCAA championships, won Saturday with a wind-aided 11.06 seconds. Webb, who also ran in two winning relays for Texas A&M, won with a wind-legal 10.14.
Texas A&M won three relays, with the men taking the 400 and 800 and the Aggies women winning the 400. The women's time of42.56 tied the meet record set by the Aggies in 2010.
Indiana's Derek Drouin won the men's high jump with a height of 7 feet, 6 ½ inches.
