BATON ROUGE - Following a banner season for the LSU gymnastics team, the Tigers earned a few more awards as head coach DD Breaux was named the national coach of the year.

In addition, the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women named Jay Clark and Bob Moore, both Tigers assistants, as the co-winners of national assistant of the year.

The coaching staff led LSU to new heights this season, topping the rankings for 3 weeks during the season, scoring a program-best 198.325 at NCAA regionals, and finishing a program-best 3rd at NCAAs.
