LSU romps Mississippi State, 17-4
BATON ROUGE - LSU had their best offensive outing of the season, Kyle Bouman gave a solid start, and the Tigers completed the weekend sweep of the Mississippi State Bulldogs with a 17-4 win Sunday afternoon.
The bats accounted for 17 runs on 20 hits for the day, including Kade Scivicque's grand slam and a solo shot by Christian Ibarra.
Kyle Bouman got his first start in three weeks, after suffering an ankle injury before the Georgia series.
The sweep is the Tigers' first in conference play.
LSU will return to Alex Box Stadium against Lamar Wednesday at 6:30pm.
