LSU Police arrest three teens after armed robbery
BATON ROUGE - LSU Police arrested three juveniles after an armed robbery this weekend.
Sgt. Kevin Scott said police arrested two 15-year-olds and a 16-year-old after they found them with the stolen property shortly after the crime was reported Saturday night.
Scott said LSU Police responded to Dalrymple Drive and Infirmary Lane after they were told someone's cell phone and other items were taken by an armed group of three males. LSU Police put out an emergency alert, and Scott said they soon caught up with the suspects as they were trying to flee the area on foot.
Investigators booked them into the parish Juvenile Services Detention Facility on one count each of armed robbery.
