LSU pitches second straight shutout, beats Tulane 6-0

BATON ROUGE - The LSU pitching staff threw its second consecutive shutout and Tiger batters combined for 14 hits against Tulane's best pitcher as LSU topped the Green Wave 6-0 Tuesday night at Alex Box Stadium. 

Jake Fraley led the way for the Tiger batters, going 3-4 with 3 RBI. 

Paul Mainieri trotted out seven pitchers to combine for the shutout as Zac Person (2-1) earned his second win of the season. 

LSU has thrown 13 shutouts in 2014 and the Tigers have won 11 of their last 13 games.
