LSU offensive stars headline list of early departures
BATON ROUGE - For the second straight year, LSU is facing a mass exodus of early departures.
Last year, 10 players left early for the chance to play in the NFL Draft: this year, seven players are leaving with eligibility still on the table, including offensive stars Jarvis Landry, Odell Beckham and Jeremy Hill.
Two other players said they were leaving early on Monday, as offensive guard Trai Turner left with two years remaining, and running back Alfred Blue, although he is a senior, left with the chance to come back for another season.
Combin those with defensive tackles Anthony Johnson and Ego Ferguson, and that's seven players leaving early for the draft.
Tigers head coach Les Miles joked before the Outback Bowl that he would need to try another strategy for keeping players around, because his current one isn't working.
