LSU notables kiss pigs for a good cause
BATON ROUGE - Several notable people from LSU locked lips with a pig to raise money for cancer research today.
Six people including Football Head Coach Les Miles took part in the annual "Kiss the Pig" event at noon in front of the Student Union building.
The event raises money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society every spring and is put on by LSU's Rotaract Club.
Candidates from the LSU community competed against each other in three categories: Faculty and Staff, Students, and Athletics. The two that received the most votes in each category kissed the pig today.
The event raised $850 for cancer research today.
