LSU men's basketball picked 4th in SEC
BATON ROUGE - The LSU men's basketball team has been picked to finish fourth in a poll of league media members.
The poll was released this morning, the first day of SEC Media Days.
LSU Junior forward Johnny O'Bryant III of LSU was named to the SEC pre-season first team.
Each school selected media members that cover their team and additional media from across the nation were selected by the conference office to form the voting panel.
The Kentucky Wildcats are the top choice with 21 first place votes.
Florida was picked second and Tennessee was third.
Kentucky freshman Julius Randle was the choice for preseason Player of the Year.
Tennessee's Jordan McRae, LSU's Johnny O'Bryant III, Tennessee's Jarnell Stokes, Florida's Patric Young, Ole Miss' Marshall Henderson and Alabama's Trevor Releford also received votes in the Player of the Year voting.
SEC Basketball Media Day takes place today and tomorrow in Birmingham, Alabama.
