LSU great Bob Pettit attended the monthly Johnny Jones basketball luncheon Tuesday. The 11-time NBA All-Star talked about the direction of the LSU program, a direction he says he's enjoyed thus far.

"Whenever they throw that press on the other team that's exciting," said the six-foot-nine former forward. "It's exciting to watch, and I think all the LSU fans can realize with his recruiting class and the way this team is playing that the future is very bright."
