BATON ROUGE - The LSU Lady Tigers basketball team learned they were selected as the 6th seed in the Spokane region today for the NCAA women's tournament.

LSU (20-11, 10-6 SEC) will host the 11th-seeded Green Bay Phoenix (29-2) this weekend in Baton Rouge. LSU will also host the first-round matchup between No. 3 seed Penn State (25-5) and No. 14 seed Cal Poly (21-10).

Stanford and UConn received the top seeds in the NCAA women's tournament.

LSU and Green Bay tip off this Sunday at the PMAC at 6:30 p.m.
