The LSU Tigers have scored on five straight possessions, however three of those have been field goals instead of touchdowns.

LSU leads Mississippi State 23-17 midway through the third quarter after the Bulldogs capitalized on a Odell Beckham Jr. muffed punt deep in Tiger territory.

One play later State quarterback Tyler Russell hit receiver Chad Bumphis for a 14 yard corner toss touchdown.

The Tigers responded with a 41 yard field goal from kicker Drew Alleman who is 3 for 3 on the night.
