LSU improves to 3-0 with big win over Grambling St.
BATON ROUGE - The LSU Tigers improved to 3-0 with a perfect weekend, including Sunday's 6-0 win over Grambling State.
Freshman pitcher Jared Poche, the former Lutcher Bulldog, fired a scoreless six innings with three strikeouts in his first collegiate start.
Also getting his first start was second baseman Kramer Robertson who scored two runs and provided the web gem of the day, catching a head-over-heels-sliding grab at the wall in foul territory.
Dakota Dean, Chris Sciambra, and Danny Zardon also got their first starts of the season.
