LSU gymnastics reaches national championships
AMES, IA - The LSU gymnastics team started out in front and stayed out in front, taking down 5 other opponents to win the NCAA regional in Ames on Saturday with a winning score of 197.175.
The Tigers will be joined at the national championships by Nebraska, who finished second with a 196.950.
The Tigers got event wins from Jessie Jordan (beam, floor) and Rheagan Courville (vault) and now look to secure their 3rd straight Super Six on April 17 in Fort Worth, TX.
The field will be paired from 12 to 6, with the Super Six taking place April 18 and individual event titles on the 19th.
