LSU fans set to take over Houston
BATON ROUGE - With LSU football just two days away, many Tiger fans are packing up and heading to Houston for the matchup this weekend.
Tickets for the game online at StubHub range from $100 for seats in the 600 section to several hundred dollars for field level seating. LSU fans plan to do what they do best: take over.
"I think they're going to dominate Houston, man," said LSU fan Jerith Naquin. "Houston has a huge presence of LSU fans already on top of what's going to be traveling, so I don't think it will be close, probably 80-20."
"It's not going to be hard going to Houston and taking over that city," said LSU fan Jeff English. "I think the city is already taken over. As it is, it's over run with Tiger fans, and we're just bringing Baton Rouge west."
Tiger travelers say the anticipation of this weekend's game against Wisconsin is overwhelming. Thursday some fans spent the day shopping for the latest LSU gear at Bengals and Bandits.
"I want to find something fresh, something new for the new season, so I'm looking for a shirt," said Naquin.
