BATON ROUGE - Talk of Les Miles' decision to stay with the Tigers spread fast among LSU fans.
Most purple and gold faithful said they are looking forward to starting another season with Miles.
"It's great, and we don't have to get another coach, and he's pretty good. He's got a good record here so I'm happy for him," Marcus Milliner said.
"I'm glad he's staying because we can keep out recruiting class intact," Eddie Rowzee said.
A near loss against Tennessee has some LSU fans questioning Miles' coaching ability. However, his latest win in the Cotton Bowl calmed some of those fears.
Now, many fans are looking forward to another season with the coach.
"Les is a good coach, he's done well here at LSU and he's got a group of young men that will be strong next year. So I think he'll do well, maybe even a national championship next year," William Payne said.
LSU kicks off their season in Arlington, Texas at Cowboys Stadium on September 3rd.
