The ULL Ragin' Cajuns jumped on top of LSU early and then Mother Nature helped seal the deal.

The top 15 match up between a pair of in state baseball teams was called after five innings of play with the #13 ULL Ragin' Cajuns beating the #1 LSU Tigers 4-1 in an offical game.

Play was halted in the top of the sixth inning with the Cajuns leading 4-1, but because the inning was not finished the final run did not count.

The loss snaps a 32 game win streak for the LSU Tigers over in state schools and also ends their 34 game mid-week win streak during the regular season.

Tiger starting pitcher Cody Glenn was touched up for three runs all of them earned on five hits allowed.

The Tigers will host Yale in a three game series at the Box starting on Friday evening.
