LSU employees to get pay raise
BATON ROUGE- LSU System employees will receive a pay adjustment for the first time in four years the new president and chancellor announced Friday.
"This is a long overdue action that has been precluded by financial circumstances," F. King Alexander said.
The pay raises or supplements will range up to 4 percent and will vary depending on the institution and the employee's position. LSU said the increase effective dates will vary depending on each institution's current financial obligations.
Funding will be provided from savings over the last several years.
