LSU downs Tulane 6-0 in midweek baseball game
BATON ROUGE - The LSU Tiger baseball team got going late, but put away the Tulane Green Wave for the second time this season with relative ease.
LSU beat the wave for the second time this year, winning Tuesday night in Alex Box Stadium 6-0.
Nine different LSU pitchers allowed just one hit on the night, while Tulane shot themselves in the foot with four errors.
Starting Wave pitcher Patrick Duester stymied the Tigers allowing on earned run early, but settled in for the next four innings. Once Duester left his replacement Tim Yandel gave up three runs on five hits.
LSU will host second ranked Texas A&M in a crucial series starting Thursday.
