LSU defensive tackle Thomas likely out for season
BATON ROUGE - The LSU Tigers got their first bite of the injury bug this fall camp, and it comes at an already-thin position as defensive tackle Quentin Thomas is likely out for the season with a torn biceps.
Thomas was one of the few veterans with playing experience last season: he played in 11 games and had 9 tackles with 2 pass break ups and one fumble recovery.
The Tigers will now look to one - or a combination - of several freshmen to fill the void including Frank Herron, Greg Gilmore, and Maquedius Bain.
None of those three players has ever played a down for the Tigers.
