LSU basketball takes down Texas A&M 68-49
The LSU Tiger basketball team won their eighth straight home game of the season, beating Texas A&M 68-49 in the Maravich Center on Wednesday night.
LSU avenged an earlier season loss to the Aggies with a defensive showing that kept Texas A&M to a season low in points.
Tiger freshman Jarrell Martin led LSU in scoring with 20 points, Johnny O'Bryant III chimed in with 15 points and nine rebounds.
The Tigers started off trailing, but a ten minute scoring drought by the Aggies helped LSU to a double digit lead in the first half.
LSU led 30-24 at the break, and in the second half used an 11-2 scoring run to separate the game behind a couple of big three point shots from Martin.
LSU is on the road at #1 ranked Florida this Saturday.
