LSU basketball hits the practice court in Pittsburgh, prepares for NC State
PITTSBURGH - The LSU Tigers arrived in Pennslyvania Wednesday, going through a practice at the CONSOL Energy Center and discussing the upcoming challenge of facing NC State in the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament on Thursday.
"We've matured a lot throughout the year and I feel like we're ready to play our best basketball," said Tigers guard Keith Hornsby.
The Tigers are playing their first NCAA tournament game since 2009, while the Wolfpack are making their 4th straight trip to the big dance.
Tip off is Thursday at 8:20 CT on TBS.
