LSU baseball will face Florida in SEC tournament final
HOOVER, AL - The LSU baseball team earned its second run-rule win of the SEC tournament, and the Tigers advanced to the championship game with a 11-1 win over Arkansas on Saturday in Hoover, AL.
The Tigers will face top-seeded Florida, who beat Kentucky 6-5 in the other semifinal.
The Tigers beat the Razorbacks for the second straight game in this year's tournament by continuing its hot streak at the plate. LSU got home runs from Connor Hale, Tyler Moore and Kade Scivicque and churned out 16 hits on their way to LSU's 5th conference championship game in the past 7 years.
Joe Broussard picked up the win, giving up just one run over six innings while striking out three.
LSU now meets the Gators, who swept the Tigers in Gainesville earlier this season.
