LSU baseball takes series over MSU, win game 2 11-4
The LSU Tiger baseball team had a little easier time in their second game against Mississippi State, winning 11-4 on Friday night in Starkville.
The two teams combined for a 5-3 Tiger win on Thursday night in a 14 inning affair that wrapped up around midnight the day before.
LSU pounded out 17 hits and led for the all but the first two inning as every Tiger starter collected at least one hit.
The Tigers will go for the series sweep with game three starting at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, the game will be televised on ESPN2.
