LSU baseball swept away by Gators
GAINESVILLE, FL - The Florida Gators finished off a 3 game sweep of #4 LSU baseball on Sunday, handing the Tigers their first SEC sweep since 2011.
The Gators won 11-7, coming back after the Tigers took an early lead in the game.
LSU (20-8-1, 3-5-1) used 6 pitchers in the game, and after the bullpen had been stellar all year long, no LSU pitcher lasted longer than 3 innings in the series finale.
Tigers All-American shortstop Alex Bregman continues a deep slump: he went 0-4 on the day, 0-12 in the series and is in the midst of a hitless streak in his last 15 at-bats.
