LSU baseball's Jared Foster wins appeal, eligibility restored, will travel to South Carolina
BATON ROUGE - LSU second baseman Jared Foster is academically eligible once again and will travel with the Tigers to South Carolina for their series against the Gamecocks.
As first reported by the Advocate, Foster won his appeal Tuesday, after being ruled academically ineligible last Friday.
The senior was having a career year before being ruled out, batting .275 with 8 home runs and a .506 slugging percentage.
