LSU baseball reacts to series win over Texas A&M
BATON ROUGE - Texas A&M is now in the rearview mirror, and the #1 LSU baseball team can look forward to its final 9 games of the regular season knowing they took 2 of 3 from the #2 team in the country.
Although LSU didn't get the sweep, the Tigers did produce the most hits the Aggies have given up in a single series this year.
Tigers head coach Paul Mainieri also said he liked the way Austin Bain pitched on Saturday even though the Tigers lost the game.
The Tigers (37-7,14-6 SEC) now turn their attention to Alcorn State, as the Braves come to Alex Box Stadium on Tuesday at 6:30 pm. The game will air on the internet at SECN+.
