LSU baseball rained out of finale at Georgia
ATHENS, GA - The LSU Tigers will have to settle for a pair of wins instead of a 3-game sweep, after their 3rd game against the Georgia Bulldogs was cancelled Sunday because of rain.
The Tigers won a doubleheader Saturday, with Alex Lange and Jared Poche' both picking up wins, and moved a 12-5 record in the SEC (34-6 overall).
The Tigers now turn their attention to a Tuesday showdown against in-state rival Tulane at home before a possible #1 vs #2 showdown against Texas A&M beginning Thursday at Alex Box Stadium.
The Tigers have won 4 straight games and 11 of their last 12: the Aggies (35-3, 12-3 SEC) have won 3 straight.
