LSU baseball outlasts Baylor 2-0
HOUSTON - Alex Lange pitched seven innings of shutout baseball, and the Tigers found just enough offense to beat Baylor on Saturday afternoon at Minute Made Park in Houston.
The Tigers didn't score until the 8th inning of this pitcher's duel, but Connor Hale finally delivered a sac fly run to give LSU a 1-0 lead.
The Tigers scored another run in the top of the 9th before Jesse Stallings came in to close the game, staving off a bases-loaded situation to lift the Tigers to their second win in Houston.
Alex Lange (4-0) struck out 4 batters and gave up 0 runs while scattering 7 hits in an impressive performance.
The Tigers (14-1) will face Nebraska at 11am on Sunday to try to sweep their three games at the major league venue.
