LSU baseball holds impromptu practice as they wait for new plane
BATON ROUGE - The LSU baseball team began their weekend road series in the strangest of places - at home, as they waited for a plane to take them to College Station for their series against Texas A&M.
The initial chartered plane from Baton Rouge airport had mechanical issues, and while the Tigers waited for a new plane, they returned to Alex Box stadium for some light throwing and hitting under the lights.
Tigers shortstop Alex Bregman said the team will roll with the punches and try to take the unexpected delay in stride.
"I don't think it changes anything," said Bregman.
