LSU baseball finishes sweep of Auburn, earns #3 seed at SEC Tournament
AUBURN, AL - The LSU baseball team beat Auburn 8-1 to finish off a sweep of the home Tigers, and in the process earned the #3 seed in the SEC tournament.
LSU kept the bats hot as they finished the series with a 29-4 advantage in the 3 wins over Auburn.
Add Tuesday's 27 run performance and the Tigers have scored 56 runs in the past four games.
Kyle Bouman picked up the first conference win of his career and his first this season since March 1 against Yale as he gave up one run and scattered four hits over five innings.
LSU will now play the winner of #6 seeded Vanderbilt and #11 Tennessee in Hoover, with the Tennessee teams playing Tuesday at 9:30 AM.
The Tigers will meet the winner on Wednesday at 9:30 AM.
