BATON ROUGE - Paul Mainieri and the LSU baseball team are expected to rise in the rankings after taking two of three from No. 1 Florida this past weekend.

LSU has now won five of its last six SEC games, including a sweep of then No. 3 Arkansas.

Leading hitter Raph Rhymes sat out Saturday's 8-7 win with a mild concussion.

Mainieri says Rhymes is listed as day-to-day.

The Tigers are back in action on Tuesday night at 6:30 against Alcorn State.
