LSU baseball beats Southeastern 7-3 in Hammond
The 3rd ranked LSU Tiger baseball team used a four run sixth inning to pull away from the Southeastern Lions, eventually winning 7-3 on Wednesday night in Hammond.
Freshman second baseman Connor Hale was 3 fo 5 at the plate with an RBI and rightfielder Jared Foster was 2 of 4 with two runs batted in.
The Tigers gave up a one run lead in the first, but rebounded to take a 2-1 lead in the second.
Tiger pitcher Cody Glenn picked up the win with five innings pitched, allowing three runs, but only one earned.
The LSU Tigers will host Virginia Tech on Friday at Alex Box Stadium to start a three team series over the weekend.
Southeastern returns to action Friday at 1 p.m. against George Washington, opening a three-game series with the Colonials.
