BATON ROUGE - The LSU Tigers announced their 2016 slate of Southeastern Conference games Thursday afternoon.

All 14 schools in the SEC released their schedules for the upcoming season today.

LSU will open SEC play on Sept. 17 against Mississippi State in Tiger Stadium. They’ll take off to Auburn the following weekend on Sept. 24, then play host to Missouri on Oct. 1.

The game against Missouri will mark the first time the two teams have met since Mizzou joined the SEC back in 2012. They’ve only played one other time, and it was at the 1978 Liberty Bowl where Missouri won by a score of 20-15.

As October wears on, the Tigers will head to Florida on Oct. 8 before taking on Southern Mississippi at home on Oct. 15 and Ole Miss on Oct. 22. They’ll wrap up the month with an open date on Oct. 29.

The Tigers kick off November with the Alabama Crimson Tide rocking into Tiger Stadium on Nov. 5. They then take a little trip to Arkansas on Nov. 12. The finish their conference schedule on Thanksgiving against Texas A&M in College Station on Nov. 24.

LSU has already announced non-conference games including the season-opener against Wisconsin at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, the home-opener the following week against Jacksonville State on Sept. 10, Southern Mississippi on Oct. 15 and the home finisher against South Alabama on Nov. 19.
