The LSU AgCenter has a new way for farmers and people in the food business to market products.
Louisiana's Market Maker website is taking registrations now, and should be searchable by Aug. 15.
Sellers get free accounts.
Businesses must be agriculture-related - for instance, agritourism would qualify.
Buyers don't need accounts.
They can search for food-related business from roadside stands to meat processors and even dinner
theaters, and then map them.
