LSU #4 national seed for NCAA Regionals
OMAHA - LSU is the #4 national seed for the NCAA baseball tournament. That's despite winning the SEC Tournament and beating Vanderbilt, who got the #2 seed.
The tournament gets underway Friday. LSU hosts a regional and are in place to host a super regional. Coming to Baton Rouge to face the Tigers will be Jackson State, Sam Houston State, and UL-Lafayette. They face Jackson State on Friday at 2 p.m.
North Carolina is the #1 seed overall. The rest of the eight national seeds are, in order: Vanderbilt, Oregon State, LSU, Cal State Fullerton, Virginia, Florida State and Oregon.
