LSP trying to warm up hit-and-run case
BRUSLY - State Police are asking for help again as investigators search for the truck or SUV involved in a hit-and-run that left a seven-year-old injured recently.
Video captured by a home security system shows what appears to be a mid-1990's Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon leaving the area where the child was hit on the Fourth of July. Troopers said they have ruled out that the vehicle is a larger Chevrolet Suburban.
The child was hit riding a bike on River Road north of LA 989-1 hours before the annual fireworks show.
The child has minor injuries.
The vehicle involved should have damage to the passenger mirror, Troopers said.
