LSP: Man not buckled-up in fatal accident
Plaquemine - According to Louisiana State Police, a Plaquemine man wasn't wearing his seatbelt when he was killed in a car crash in Iberville Parish.
64-year-old Winsley St. Pierre, Jr. was the only driver involved in the accident. Police say he was driving south on LA Hwy. 75 when he failed to make the turn, ran off the road and hit a tree.
Investigators don't know if he was under the influence at the time of the crash. They are waiting the for the results of a toxicology sample.
