LSP looking for human trafficking suspect
BATON ROUGE - Louisiana State Police asked for the public's help finding a man wanted for human trafficking.
The State Police Special Victims Unit is looking for 21 year-old Emmanuel Bailey of Fort Smith, Arkansas. He's being sought as part of an ongoing multi-agency investigation into prostitution and online solicitaion in Louisiana.
LSP said Bailey was identified as an alleged pimp during an undercover prostitution sting in the Baton Rouge area in March. The operation used online solicitations to set up dates at a local hotel. A woman arrested during the sting told investigators she was forced to engage in prostitution under threats to herself and her family, saying that Bailey was her pimp.
Anyone Bailey's location or information regarding the sexual exploitation or trafficking of victims should contact their local law enforcement agency.
The LSP Special Victims Unit is comprised of State Police Troopers who work in partnership with local, state, and Federal law enforcement agencies. It was created to combat child exploitation and investigate child and adult sex trafficking as well as labor trafficking across Louisiana. The Baton Rouge Field Office is comprised of Troopers and East Baton Rouge Sheriff's deputies.
