LSP looking for hit-and-run driver
DENHAM SPRINGS - Louisiana State Police asked for the public's help finding a hit-and-run driver who injured a man walking down the side of a road.
Trooper Jared Sandifer said it happened in Livingston Parish around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night near the intersection of Linder Road and Clinton Allen Road.
Investigators said the victim was walking along the shoulder of Arnold Road when he was hit by a vehicle going eastbound. The driver didn't stop, and kept going east on Arnold Road, past Dunn Road and toward Highway 447.
Sandifer said troopers believe the vehicle is either a small white SUV-style vehicle or white passenger car. It may be missing the passenger side rearview mirror, and may have slight damage to the passenger side.
Anyone with information about this hit-and-run should call LSP Troop A at (225) 754-8500 or their local law enforcement agency.
