LSP: I-10W back open after crash blocked interstate
BATON ROUGE - A crash blocked I-10 West on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge for a short while just before noon, according to Louisiana State Police.
The wreck was initially reported as a "major" crash through the LSP Nixle alert system which closed the interstate at mile marker 128 near Ramah.
However, a State Police spokesperson said only one vehicle was involved, there were no major injuries, and the interstate was back open again.
DOTD traffic camers showed congestion on the interstate building behind the scene of the wreck. At one point it was at a complete standstill.
