LSP find missing kid from Mamou, mother in custody
MAMOU - Louisiana State Police have located a twelve-year-old boy safely after he went missing Tuesday afternoon.
Investigators issued an alert Tuesday night that Jalon Bradley, 12, was taken from Mamou High School Tuesday afternoon after he was taken by his mother, 34-year-old Elaine Freemean.
Both Bradley and Freeman were located in Jackson, MS. Freeman was taken into custody.
Troopers believed Freeman was en route to Jackson, Mississippi in a white SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC crew cab pickup truck.
